The report covers IGA solutions and focuses on the level of out-of-the-box integration such solutions provide to ServiceNow, a leading ITSM platform. Thus, the focus is not primarily on the IGA capabilities themselves, but specifically on how well solutions integrate with ServiceNow. The report compares IGA solutions from the following ten vendors: Avatier, Clear Skye, EmpowerID, IBM, Ilantus, Micro Focus, One Identity, SailPoint, Saviynt, Simeio, and Soffid. For a broader picture of the market, KuppingerCole also lists 13 vendors to watch with a concise description of each.
“Most IGA vendors today deliver some out-of-the-box integration with ServiceNow already, but may need to further extend and improve capabilities,” explains Martin Kuppinger, Principal Analyst at KuppingerCole and author of the report. The report found that only very few solutions are running on the ServiceNow NOW platform. “Also, there is little integration with ServiceNow capabilities for governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC),” Kuppinger adds. Meanwhile, enterprises expect deep integration, including ServiceNow apps from the app store and API-based integration.
