Marcus Gerlach neuer Divisionsleiter Hardparts

Mit Wirkung zum 1. Februar 2020 hat Marcus Gerlach (48) als CEO die Leitung der Division Hardparts von Rheinmetall Automotive übernommen. Er folgt auf Helmut Freiermuth, der sich neuen Aufgaben außerhalb der Unterneh­mensgruppe widmen wird.

Marcus Gerlach gehört dem Rheinmetall-Konzern seit 1999 an. Nach verschiedenen kaufmännischen Funktionen im In- und Ausland war Gerlach als Geschäftsführer der früheren KS Aluminium-Technologie GmbH (heute KS HUAYU AluTech GmbH) tätig, bevor er als President zur ebenfalls zur Gruppe gehörenden Pierburg US, LLC, Fountain Inn / SC, in die USA wechselte.

Zuletzt verantwortete Gerlach den Bereich Einkauf innerhalb der Division Mechatronics von Rheinmetall Automotive. Seit 2018 war er darüber hinaus Chief Purchasing Officer Non Production Material der gesamten Rheinmetall Group.
