RWE Tesla Tour auf Europas Straßen und im Social Web

RWE schickt seit dem 16. September den Elektro-Sportwagen Tesla Roadster in den Praxistest. Zwei Studenten haben als Fahrer die Aufgabe, den Tesla über eine Route von über 4.000 Kilometern in 13 Tagen von Essen nach Istanbul zu fahren. getit unterstützt die RWE Effizienz GmbH und bringt die RWE Tesla Tour über diverse Plattformen ins Social Web.

Bereits die Fahrersuche im Vorfeld der Tour lief über die sozialen Netzwerke facebook und studiVZ. Der eigens eingerichteten facebook Fanpage http://www.facebook.com/... schließen sich Tag für Tag neue User an, um die Erlebnisse und Etappenziele der beiden Studenten zu verfolgen. Im YouTube-Channel der RWE Tesla Tour bekommen die User täglich ein neues Video von der Tour zu sehen und über Blog und Twitter berichten die Fahrer live von ihrer abenteuerlichen Tour.

"Mit der RWE Tesla Tour starten wir einerseits einen weiteren Test zur Alltagstauglichkeit der Elektromobilität", erklärt Projektleiter Jörg Lohr von der RWE Effizienz GmbH. "Gleichzeitig haben wir hier aber auch ein tolles Web 2.0-Projekt mit der getit auf die Beine gestellt, das jedem die Möglichkeit gibt, die Tour in die elektromobile Zukunft selbst im Internet zu verfolgen."
