Mit Spannung erwartet: Die Meisterfeier der Solaren Regionalliga

Die neuen Solarmeister der Region Hannover werden am Freitag, 11. November, gekürt: Die stellvertretende Regionspräsidentin, Doris Klawunde, wird die Pokale an die Kommunen mit der meisten Solarenergie pro Einwohner überreichen. Zusätzlich gibt es Medaillen für die Städte und Gemeinden mit dem größten Zuwachs an Solaranlagen.

Organisiert und ausgewertet wird die Solare Regionalliga von der Klimaschutzagentur Region Hannover - in diesem Jahr bereits zum siebten Mal. Zwei Jahre lang waren alle 21 Kommunen der Region aufgerufen, ihre Zahlen zu melden. Sieger gibt es in den Kategorien bis und über 30.000 Einwohner, die Landeshauptstadt ist wegen ihrer Größe konkurrenzlos in den Wettbewerb gestartet.

Am Freitag, 11. November, wird das Geheimnis um die neuen Solarmeister ab 12 Uhr im Hannover Congress Centrum gelüftet. Die Region hat auf jeden Fall gewonnen - nämlich 2.509 neue Solaranlagen im Vergleich zu 2009. Damit gibt es jetzt 8.391 gemeldete Solarwärme- und Solarstromanlagen in allen 21 Kommunen. Insgesamt kommen die Solarwärmeanlagen auf eine Fläche von mehr als 41.500 m2. Die Solarstromanlagen haben zusammen eine Leistung von rund 57 MW und können den Strombedarf von 11.000 Haushalten decken.
