The Web pages are clear and easy to use, particularly when used on the iPad. "During the year, we are planning to convert the current application into an app," Manfred Schleicher added. "This software program will than enable the offline mode and make it possible to store received data and integrate additional functions, such as a status report on the utilisation of production machinery."
All the Global Power Pick warehouse management system modules are highly scalable. It is not only compatible with all the automatic delivery systems from Kardex Remstar, but can also be easily used with all the standard storage systems from other manufacturers and is suitable for managing manual warehouses. The software has interfaces to the higher-level ERP and host systems. All the common picking and communication technologies, such as Pick-by-light or RFID, are already integrated.
At CeMAT 2011, Kardex Remstar will also be presenting the new Megamat RS carousel and the stock lifts of the Shuttle XP series automatic storage and delivery solutions from the current product portfolio.
