Juniper's high-performance Carrier Ethernet platforms deliver increased carrier network performance, scalability and reliability, enabling quick and cost-effective deployment of new Ethernet-based services to drive new sources of revenue while reducing costs and complexity.
The Juniper Networks booth will feature its MX960 High-Performance Carrier Ethernet Networking platform, optimized for emerging Ethernet network architectures and services. The Juniper Networks MX-series ESRs are purpose-built for the most demanding carrier applications, enabling carriers to create high-performance Ethernet network infrastructures that can quickly become a strategic asset to their business. By combining a best-in-class hardware platform with the reliability and service flexibility of JUNOS, the MX platform delivers a combination of features and capabilities previously unattainable in Carrier Ethernet deployments.
Juniper Networks will also be part of the multi-vendor Interoperability Demonstration organized by EANTC at Carrier Ethernet World Congress.
Featuring more than 20 vendors, the demonstration will show the implementation and provisioning of Carrier Ethernet services using diverse technologies, as well as Operation and Maintenance (OAM) functions in a realistic Triple Play/IPTV environment.

Nils Swart, technical lead Carrier Ethernet solutions, Juniper Networks will present a session titled "Developing a strategy for the introduction of Ethernet into the mobile transport network to support the evolution to IP - migrating from R99 to R5 infrastructure and beyond" on Tuesday, September 25 at 2:40 p.m.
Dr. Kireeti Kompella, Juniper Fellow, Juniper Networks will participate in a panel discussion on Carrier Ethernet Deployment on Monday, September 24th at 5:10 p.m. Dr. Kompella will also present a keynote titled "Overcoming the challenges of multicast" on Wednesday, September 26th at 12:10 p.m.
