Vision China Shanghai: SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH celebrates 100th anniversary

(PresseBox) (Hong Konk, )
Founded in 1913, Jos. Schneider Optische Werke celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. At the Shanghai Vision Show from 19 to 21 March 2013, Schneider-Kreuznach invites existing and potential customers to join in the celebrations at the company’s booth (W1.1337). Snacks and drinks will be served at lunchtime every day.

Throughout the company’s 100-year history, lenses made by Schneider-Kreuznach have stood for exceptional precision and robustness, whether for photography, cinema projection, or industrial applications. “The company has always aimed for the highest quality rather than quantity; we still feel committed to this aspiration,” says Dr. Josef Staub, CEO of the Schneider Group.

Schneider-Kreuznach has been present on the Asian market for five years now. Its subsidiaries Schneider Asia Pacific Ltd. in Hong Kong and above all Schneider Optical Technologies Co. Ltd. in Shenzhen have contributed towards Schneider-Kreuznach’s success as a global market leader in the area of leading-edge optical technology. Asia is still a very important growth market for the lens specialist. China in particular is expected to be a key region for the machine vision industry in future. “The quality of vision systems in China is getting better and better – which also boosts demand for high-quality lenses made by Schneider-Kreuznach,” according to Dirk Muschert, Managing Director Schneider Asia Pacific Ltd.

Vision China Shanghai is one of the largest machine vision exhibitions in China. Every year, it attracts thousands of visitors from both home and abroad.
