B+W goes mobile: SCHNEIDER KREUZNACH introduces a new polarizing filter for the iPhone

(PresseBox) (Bad Kreuznach, )
Schneider-Kreuznach presents its first filter designed especially for lenses on mobile devices at photokina 2012. The B+W Smart-Pro is a circular polarizing filter that can be mounted on all current iPhones and iPads as well as other smartphones and tablet PCs. The filter system is “clicked” onto a small magnetic ring that is first fitted around the lens on the smartphone or tablet. The filter can then be attached and aligned quickly and easily as required. It works on all small camera lenses with a maximum diameter of 8 millimeters.

The B+W Smart-Pro polarizing filter features the same high quality as all B+W products. It eliminates reflections and provides saturated and intense colors as well as an improved contrast ratio. This effect can neither be created subsequently using software nor can an app simulate it. The filter is ideal for all those who want to disassociate themselves from the world of standard Hipstamatic and Instagram photography.

The B+W Smart-Pro features a precision manufactured matt black steel casing with a magnetic mount and polished polarizing lens and is supplied in a safe and practical transport tin shaped like a keyring. It will be available from winter 2012.

Grand draw at photokina: On Saturday, 22 September 2012, Schneider-Kreuznach will be giving away the B+W Smart-Pro C-Pol lens at an exclusive prize draw at photokina.
