Traffic safety technology for Kuwait

Jenoptik delivers modern digital technology for stationary and mobile traffic monitoring to the State of Kuwait

(PresseBox) (Jena/Monheim, ) The Jenoptik Traffic Solutions division and its long-term local partner, First Joint Group, received an order from the Kuwait Ministry of Interior for speed and red-light monitoring systems to upgrade all traffic enforcement equipment in the country. The order volume exceeds 2 million euros. The Jenoptik division delivers the systems in the first quarter of 2014.

The delivery includes stationary and mobile radar systems for speed monitoring as well as red-light monitoring systems. They are equipped with the latest digital camera and tracking radar technology.

Jenoptik traffic safety technology has already been successfully deployed in the Middle East for several years. "We are pleased with the new order from Kuwait.
