With the JENOPTIK-VOTAN(TM) C BIM and the JENOPTIK VOTAN- IQ, Jenoptik will be showcasing two laser systems that have been designed for the three-dimensional component-specific processes which provide for extremely fast set-up times, even when using a wide range of variants. Jenoptik will be able to benefit from its comprehensive, in-house know-how regarding laser beam sources, especially high-power diode and fiber lasers. Depending on the requirements the systems will be equipped with laser sources which come from external but in future to an increasing extent from our own production.
The JENOPTIK-VOTAN(TM) C BIM is the combination of a stationary laser and a robot-based motion sequence. The new concept for laser cutting will for the first time enable users to work with laser outputs of up to 5 KW without impairing the typical robot performance. It is particularly suited for the 3D processing of press-hardened structural components and 3D molded metallic sections of the kind needed in the automotive industry.
The JENOPTIK-VOTAN(TM) IQ cuts or welds components made of a wide range of materials on a minimum area. This machine concept is individually adapted to industrial processes and thanks to the scalable laser output offers a wide range of potential applications.
The first systems have already been sold to international clients. They will be presented to the wider specialist audience for the first time at the Euroblech Trade Fair in Hanover from October 26 to 30. You will find Jenoptik on the joint stand with the Messer Group in Hall 13, Stand C43.
