manager magazin analyzed the content and layout of a total of 160 financial reports in its annual competition. Jenoptik received a total of 69.2 out of a possible 100 points and improved in the overall ranking of the 160 companies that were analyzed from 35th to 10th place and, thus, has made it to the top ten again for the first time since 2006. Since the introduction of the TecDax stock index in 2003, Jenoptik has now been awarded the number 1 ranking in the manager magazin competition in the TecDax a total of five times.

manager magazin has been analyzing the financial reports of German companies listed on the Dax, MDax, TecDax and SDax since 1995. The content of the reports are analyzed under the direction of Professor Jörg Baetge from the University of Münster. Gisela Grosse, Professor for Corporate Design at the Münster University of Applied Sciences, evaluates the design. A jury consisting of four experts in financial communication then checks whether the four best reports in each stock market segment represent a true and fair view of the company's position.
