Mit dem Typ SKY bietet JAKOB Antriebstechnik eine Sicherheitskupplung für indirekte Antriebe zur Überlastbegrenzung bzw. zum Kollisionsschutz, die den modernsten Anforderungen gerecht wird. Sie bietet hohe Ausrückmomente bis 9000 Nm bei einer sehr kompakten Bauweise. Durch die Konus-Klemmbuchse ist sie einfach zu montieren. Große Wellen- bzw. Bohrungsdurchmesser, eine hohe mögliche Lagerbelastung und die ausgezeichnete Rundlaufgenauigkeit runden das Konzept ab. Durch die Verwendung von hochfestem Vergütungsstahl mit Randschichthärtung bzw. Plasmabeschichtung der relevanten Funktionsflächen konnten besonders hohe Ausrückmomente realisiert werden.

Auf Wunsch ist sie zudem in rostfreier Ausführung erhältlich.
