Smaller and stronger

(PresseBox) (Kleinwallstadt, )
The safety clutches of the SKX-L and SKB series are used to limit overload or to protect against collisions for indirect drives and meet the most modern requirements. With a compact design, they can still come up with high release torques and bearing loads, excellent concentricity, larger shaft and drilling diameters and easier setting (scaling of the setting ring). In addition, the assembly has been simplified considerably through the use of a clamping ring hub. The SKB series covers torque ranges from 0.5 to 2000Nm with shaft diameters from 5 to 100mm, the SKX-L torque ranges from 2 to 800Nm with shaft diameters from 6-85mm.

Manufactured from high-strength quenched and tempered steel and with surface hardening or plasma coating of the relevant functional surfaces, the release torques can be doubled in some cases.
