In vielen Bereichen des innerbetrieblichen Materialflusses, der Distribution und der Lagerlogistik geht es um das Palettieren und Depalettieren von Halbfabrikaten, Fertigprodukten und Packungen. Einer durchgängigen Automatisierung stehen oftmals höchst unterschiedlichste Produkte, Gebinde und Packungen gegenüber. Der Firma FPT Robotik ist es mit Hilfe des Vakuum-Spezialisten J. Schmalz GmbH gelungen, eine modulare Palettier-/Depalettierzelle zu entwickeln, die bezüglich Produkt- und Gebindespektrum höchst anwendungsflexibel einzusetzen ist. Auf Basis eines universell-flexiblen Vakuum-Greifsystems der Firma J. Schmalz GmbH, wahlweise eines Industrie- oder Portalroboters sowie einer abgestimmten Materialfluss-Peripherie, können nun sortenreine Lagen (bis über 300 kg/Lage), Zwischenlagen und Leerpaletten universell und ohne Greiferwechsel gehandhabt werden. Das größtmögliche Produktspektrum kann so schnell (mehr als 300 Lagen pro Stunde), beschädigungsfrei und mit höchster Prozesssicherheit von und auf Standard- oder Spezialpaletten unterschiedlicher Größen depalettiert und palettiert werden. Problemlos zu handeln sind beispielsweise Lagenmuster mit „Kaminen“ – also Lücken im Lagenmuster –, Produkte mit abnehmbaren Deckeln, Trays mit Stapellaschen oder inhomogene Produkte.
