„Signboards“ sind Bildschirme mit integriertem Mediaplayer für den professionellen Einsatz im Bereich Digital Signage („Digitale Beschilderung“).

Das von IAdea / Smil-Player.de angekündigte 21 Zoll Signboard „XDS-2170“ ist nun bei der itworx-pro GmbH verfügbar. Neben unterstütztem Full HD 1080p Playback bietet dieses Gerät mit seinem 21,5Zoll großem IPS-Display auch einen weiten Betrachtungswinkel (178/178). Dadurch ist der gezeigte Inhalt sowohl im Hoch-, als auch im Querformat fabelhaft anzusehen. Der integrierte Speicher bietet Platz für 8 GB an Daten und ist auf bis zu 32GB per SD/SDHC erweiterbar. Die Daten können entweder per USB (2.0), LAN oder WiFi an das Signboard XDS-2170 übertragen werden. Kompatibel ist dieses Gerät zudem mit SMIL, HTML5, JavaScript und CSS, was einen gewohnt flexiblen Einsatz als digitales Anzeigegerät oder Informationssystem ermöglicht.

Zusätzlich zum neuen 10 Zoll Signboard „XDS-1078“ (welches die Vorgängermodelle XDS-1060, XDS-1062 und XDS-1068 ersetzen soll) mit Multitouch-Display und programmierbaren, farblichen LED-Bars und dem 23 Zoll Signboard XDS-2370 ist nun also auch das 21 Zoll große Display mit integriertem Abspielgerät bei itworx-pro verfügbar.
