Eine kostenlose Fachveranstaltung zu DEM Thema der Übersetzungsbranche findet am 5. Juni in München und am 3. Juli in Stuttgart statt.

Plötzlich ist Machine Translation (MT) in aller Munde, dabei gibt es die Technologie doch schon seit langem. Was ist passiert, dass dieser langjährige Hoffnungsträger jetzt durchgestartet ist und sich von einem Luxusprodukt hin zur Alltagstauglichkeit entwickelt hat?

In den vielfältigen Diskussionen rund um Machine Translation gibt es unterschiedliche Einschätzungen und auch (zu?) hohe Erwartungen in Richtung Kosteneinsparungen und kürzere Time-to-Market-Zeiten.
