As a business development manager Wolfgang Höld has taken a new challenge within the iSYSTEM team.
With the assignment of Wolfgang Höld iSYSTEM, an international manufacturer and supplier of embedded software development and test tools, sets a focus on strengthening their relationship to semiconductor manufacturers.
"In the last years iSYSTEM has created flexible customer oriented solutions based on the strategy of offering connectivity spanning the complete development and test process of embedded systems. Now it's time to further extend this technology leadership. The primary goal is to strengthen and expand the close collaboration with semiconductor manufacturers in areas such as system simulation, power profiling and software libraries, and in addition to win new partners such as IP providers.", emphasizes Wolfgang Hoeld. The 46-years-old graduated electrical engineer and holder of several patents has over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, which he gained in various roles at National Semiconductor. As an Engineering Director he was responsible for all of National Semiconductors embedded activities including the development of new embedded CPU's, the entire development tools support spanning both, hardware and software development tools as well as product development, containing those embedded cores and peripherals. The embedded cores span from 8 to 32-bit and range from a complete new and enhanced version of the COP8, through the 16-bit CR16C and CR16Cplus variants to the 32bit CRX cores.
"As his responsibilities included the hardware development tools as well as internal and external embedded software development tools, Wolfgang worked closely with iSYSTEM starting in 1998. Nearly all development tool support for the above named embedded cores was created as a result of this fruitful partnership.
