3rd Advanced Downsizing & Turbocharging Concepts from 9 - 11 March

(PresseBox) (Berlin, ) In spite of the strong focus on electric and hybrid vehicles development, modern combustion engines are still the dominating technology. Increasing the engine’s efficiency by supercharging and downsizing is essential if combustion engines are to keep up to pace with the remaining market. Experts will come together at IQPC’s 3rd Advanced Downsizing & Turbocharging Concepts from 9 - 11 March in Wiesbaden to discuss current and future developments in turbocharging and downsizing and the ongoing challenges faced by the industry.

The conference will give delegates the chance to:

• Gain insight into the latest turbocharger technologies and different engine system requirements to maximise engine efficiency and optimised driving dynamics
• Understand the basic principles of matching turbocharger with engine to maximize its benefit and optimize overall system performance
• Learn how to assess advantages and challenges of single-stage versus two-stage charging systems to find the best solution for all applications

On 9 March, delegates can choose from workshops on the following topics:

Over the course of the main two conference days on 10 and 11 March, companies including BMW AG, Lotus Engineering, Ford Motor Company Limited, Continental AG and MAGNA will present case studies and best practices.
