LAG at transport logistic in Shanghai and in Vietnam
Transport logistic China will be held from June 14-16 in Shanghai. The trade show has developed to one of the most important trade shows in the transport and logistics sector in Asia over the past years. For this reason the Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) will attend the fair with an own booth at the German Pavilion. Moreover LAG takes this event as an opportunity to organize a delegation visit to China and Vietnam. From June 13-16 Dorothee Bär, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transportation and Digital Infrastructure will lead the delegation. During the trip meetings will be held with companies and associations in the commercial capital Shanghai as well as in Vietnams’ capital. Hanoi is known as the political, commercial and social center of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which is for the first time a destination of a LAG delegation.
Shanghai is deemed to be Chinas’ economic and financial center and has been the destination of several LAG delegation trips. It is both the hub to the inland and the international trading community. Therefor Shanghai offers excellent opportunities to open up new markets. Furthermore Shanghai aims to become a leading logistics hub. So far it already claims the largest container sea port of the world its own, which is located at the Yangtze river mouth, connecting the Chinese inland with the international trading network.
