InterSystems Provides Live Demonstrations Of HealthShare And Ensemble Platforms At GCExpo 2007

Stand 706, Earls' Court One, London - 12-13 June 2007

(PresseBox) (Darmstadt, )
InterSystems, provider of the premier application platforms for connected healthcare, will be showcasing two of its leading products at GC Expo 2007 in London, and is inviting partners, prospects, press and analysts to its stand to see how InterSystems can help public sector organisations achieve greater flexibility, productivity and efficiency. InterSystems HealthShare(tm), the healthcare information exchange platform, and InterSystems Ensemble rapid integration platform, will be showcased in two live demo sessions at the show.

Healthcare delivery systems are increasingly focused on making the large-scale cross-organisation exchange of clinical information a reality. Often undertaken as one-of-a-kind development projects, these can result in increased costs and time-scales, and risk project failure. InterSystems HealthShare is a comprehensive solution for aggregating and securely sharing clinical data across multiple organisations, enabling the rapid creation of an Electronic Patient Record. InterSystems will be showcasing the HealthShare platform in a dedicated demo session on 12th June at 1.00 pm

InterSystems Ensemble rapid integration platform enables software developers in every industry sector to rapidly enhance existing applications - without rewriting them - by adding rich Web interfaces, adaptable workflow, rules-based business processes, and other new features. A live integration and workflow demonstration will take place at the event on 13th June at 1.30pm to show how Ensemble was used to integrate existing applications at The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) rather than replace them. In the demonstration, InterSystems will also discuss the architecture and approach taken to deliver a fast path to connected systems.

"GCExpo is the leading public sector technology event, and InterSystems is delighted to be exhibiting at the show," said Martin Hasker, head of the public sector at InterSystems. "The 2007 Expo promises to be both exciting and informative. With the huge changes that are constantly taking place in the public sector, it is vital to understand how organisations can use technology to meet the needs of citizens."

GC Expo 2007 exhibition and conference will introduce the latest ICT products for the public sector. It is well respected for providing the best educational conference programme and best-practice examples of innovative IT enabled public service delivery.
