Accelerator Frankfurt’s http://acceleratorfrankfurt.com first wave of startups will start their four month program on the 19th of September. The first program will take place in an elevated setting at one of Frankfurt’s main skyscrapers Westhafen Tower.

The four strategic partners are in alphabetical order: Atobe, a successful accelerator from Israel, providing the framework of the program. D-fine, the leading risk and finance consulting firm that brings deep knowledge of the financial industry and commitment to innovation. Without the UX and UI, provided by leading digital marketing company die firma, no web based startup can succeed. Last but not least the legal and regulatory consulting is provided by Beiten Burkhardt, a leading legal services firm. They help startups navigate the existing regulatory environment.
The first wave of startups consists of eight startups: four from Germany and four from Israel. The startups are in Cybersecurity, RegTech, Fintech and WebTech fields. They will be introduced at the launch event at the Accelerator Frankfurt’s office in the Westhafen Tower on the 20th of September for a selected audience.
“Our target was to get Israeli, Finnish and German startups to join. Although we had many applicants from Finland, this time none got chosen. However, we are optimistic about next year. The selected Israeli and German startups have strong committed teams and the ability to execute their business models. Each startup brings great benefits to the existing offerings in the market” says Maria Pennanen co-founder of Accelerator Frankfurt.
Accelerator Frankfurt is an independent accelerator that gets startups investment-ready by finding cooperation partners, customers and investors. The startups have access to co-working space, meetings rooms and services provided by its partners. The program will end on the DEMO-day mid-January 2017.
