Prada Group, one of the most prestigious international brands, chooses Ingenico solutions to enhance the payment experience in their luxury shops

The Italian subsidiary of Ingenico Group, global leader in seamless payment, has been appointed by Prada Group, a world leader in the luxury industry, to bring the most suitable payment technology to its stores located all over the world, in a process to enhance their check-out systems.


Prada's goal is to constantly maintain excellence in its customer services at every level, fulfilling the needs of the shops and the expectations of its international customers: the choice was to adopt Ingenico iWL284 portable terminals, the most innovative Ingenico wireless POS, ensuring mobility within the shop and enhanced interface for the best user experience. All the Prada Group shops will soon be equipped with Ingenico payment terminals.


The first installations were performed in Italy in December 2015. In the coming months the same solution will be provided to more than 600 stores of Prada Group across the globe. Thanks to their wireless connectivity and large touch-screen, the terminals will enable mobile payments and the signature of a dematerialized receipt directly on the color display, a special plus for Prada customers.


All the terminals have been customized, including specific functions, to feature the design and look of Prada, allowing consistency with the typical sophisticated elegance of the brand.
