Für die Wirtschaft sind Bildung und Digitalisierung die Grundlagen für Leistungskraft, für Wachstum und Beschäftigung sowie für die Innovationskraft und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Unternehmen und des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt. Die Vollversammlung der Industrie- und Handelskammer Magdeburg, die die Interessen von mehr als 50.000 Unternehmen im Norden von Sachsen-Anhalt vertritt, hat diese Themen in einem Katalog „Bildungspolitische Positionen“ und in einem „Forderungspapier Digitale Wirtschaft“ gebündelt und verabschiedet.
