Saarwirtschaft strukturell gut aufgestellt - Produkte weltweit gefragt

IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Volker Giersch zu den heute veröffentlichten Wachstumszahlen

"Die guten Zahlen für 2011 unterstreichen einmal mehr, dass die Saarwirtschaft strukturell gut aufgestellt ist und dass ihre Produkte weltweit gefragt sind. Wir sind deshalb zuversichtlich, dass das Saarland auch im laufenden Jahr wieder zu den wachstumsstärkeren Bundesländern in Deutschland zählen wird. Aufgrund der Rezession in Südeuropa werden die Wachstumsraten in Bund und Land allerdings deutlich geringer ausfallen als in 2011. Für das Saarland erwarten wir ein Wachstum in der Spanne zwischen 1 und 1,5 Prozent - und damit rund 0,5 Prozentpunkte mehr als im Bund". So kommentiert IHK-Hauptgeschäftsführer Volker Giersch die heute (5. Juli 2012) vom Statistischen Amt vorgelegten korrigierten Zahlen zum Wirtschaftswachstum 2011.
