Hitzefrei am Arbeitsplatz?

Schulkinder bekommen bei hohen Temperaturen hitzefrei, Arbeitnehmer nicht. Diese haben, so die IHK Saarland, keinen Rechtsanspruch auf hitzefrei. Zwar soll nach der Arbeitsstättenrichtlinie die Raumtemperatur in Arbeitsräumen + 26°C nicht überschreiten, es handelt sich dabei jedoch nur um einen Richtwert. Arbeitsrechtlich können Mitarbeiter das Einhalten dieser Raumtemperatur kaum gerichtlich durchsetzen.
Die Lösung für Chefs und Mitarbeiter: eventuelle Gleitzeitregelungen ausnutzen, Überstunden abbauen, etwaige Kleiderordnung lockern oder kostenlos Getränke oder Eis verteilen.
