GEMA in der Faschingszeit

Nicht nur, aber gerade auch in der bevorstehenden Faschingszeit besteht bei Veranstaltern häufig Unsicherheit zu den urheberrechtlichen Bestimmungen beim öffentlichen Abspielen von Musik und den Gebührenpflichten gegenüber der GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte).

Die IHK Saarland weist darauf hin, dass beim öffentlichen Abspielen von Musik Zahlungsverpflichtung gegenüber der GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte) entstehen. Die Musiknutzung muss im Vorfeld unbedingt bei der GEMA angemeldet werden. Erst durch den Erwerb einer Lizenz hat jeder Ladeninhaber das Recht, Faschingsmusik öffentlich zu spielen.
