Gerade in der Faschingszeit besteht bei Veranstaltern immer wieder Unsicherheit zu den urheberrechtlichen Bestimmungen beim öffentlichen Abspielen von Musik und den Gebührenpflichten gegenüber der GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte). Über die Einzelheiten der GEMA-Zahlungspflicht informiert ein Infoblatt  der IHK. Das Infoblatt „GEMA (R18)“ steht zum Download bereit.
