Gerade in der Faschingszeit besteht bei Veranstaltern immer wieder Unsicherheit zu den urheberrechtlichen Bestimmungen beim öffentlichen Abspielen von Musik und den Gebührenpflichten gegenüber der GEMA (Gesellschaft für musikalische Aufführungs- und mechanische Vervielfältigungsrechte). Über die Einzelheiten der GEMA-Zahlungspflicht informiert ein Infoblatt der IHK. Das Infoblatt "GEMA (R18)" steht auf der Homepage der IHK Saarland (www.saarland.ihk.de) unter der Kennzahl 43 zum Download bereit. Weitere Informationen finden sich auch auf der Homepage der GEMA (www.gema.de).
