Wichtiges Zeichen für die regionale Wirtschaft
Im Dezember konnten 5.280 dieser Ursprungszeugnisse ausgestellt werden, das sind 68 mehr als noch im Juni 2009 und 742 mehr als im Dezember 2008. "Im Jahresvergleich gab es zwar einen kleinen Rückgang, allerdings nicht so stark, wie krisenbedingt erwartet", sagt Scheer. So seien im Jahr 2009 nur 4,2 Prozent weniger Dokumente ausgestellt worden als im Jahr 2008. "Der Außenhandel kommt wieder in Schwung, das ist ein wichtiges Zeichen für die regionale Wirtschaft", sagt Scheer.
Allerdings gingen mehr als die Hälfte der Exporte aus Südhessen in Länder der Europäischen Gemeinschaft. "Hier gibt es noch spürbaren Nachholbedarf", sagt er. Vor allem Branchen wie Maschinenbau, Anlagenbau, Chemie und Elektrotechnik seien besonders vom Export abhängig und von der Krise stärker betroffen. "Wir pflegen enge Kontakte zu den Exporteuren und kennen ihre Sorgen", so Scheer.
Außenhandel der Region Darmstadt Rhein Main Neckar:
- Exportierende Unternehmen aus der Region sind im Schnitt auf etwa 16 Auslandsmärkten aktiv.
- Der Anteil der Exporte am Gesamtumsatz beträgt in Südhessen fast 60 Prozent, in Hessen sind es 49 Prozent.
