The oil and gas industry is getting ready for a new event: the first installment of the Petrochemical & Refining Congress (PRC Europe) is taking place in Hamburg, Germany, from 22 to 23 May 2017. Under the slogan "The Future is Here", the Implico Group will be showing its cutting-edge solutions for refineries and tank terminals. In a joint presentation with its customer Rompetrol, Implico will be explaining how handhelds can make railcar loading more efficient.

International software and consulting company Implico will present its innovative solutions for refineries at Stand 4.

The company recently launched a handheld solution that allows refinery operators to take the next step toward the Internet of Things (IoT). It provides a direct link between employees on site – those involved in loading the railcars, for example – and the OpenTAS terminal management system. Important information is therefore available immediately to all those who need it. At PRC Europe 2017, Dan Negru, IT Project Manager at Rompetrol, and Dimitris Pagonis, Head of Sales Global Markets at Implico, will demonstrate the practical benefits of the solution.
