imat-uve starts its own branch in the city of Shanghai, one of the most important economic regions in China.

Under the name "Shanghai imat automotive technology service limited company '" the wholly owned subsidiary of imat-uve works for Chinese customers as well as for European car manufacturers and suppliers producing in China. The Executive Board comprises Hans-Willi Müller and Dr. Hans Peter Schlegelmilch.

"The proximity to our customers in this fast growing market is very important, therefore we will offer all services locally," says Hans Peter Schlegelmilch. Hans-Willi Müller considers this as a success of a long-term expansion strategy: "For years, we have been continually working on offering our services where our customers need them. The Chinese branch is a milestone for the expansion of our services in the Asian region. Our clients, such as Daimler and BMW, appreciate this. We work with their commitment concerning accredited services, e.g in the field of emission testing according to VDA 278."

The new office in Shanghai will offer all services from the idea to the final product: design, development and testing, representing our core competencies along the entire production chain. The local colleagues are in charge with the project management, customer service and support as well as quotation and order processing. The Chinese branch offers the customer service you are used to: one key account for all questions, fast response times and clear result documentation.
