IKS Photovoltaik showcases a new product at the Intersolar 2008

Kassel/Munich, (PresseBox) - Photovoltaic plants on the roofs of schools and kindergartens are shining examples for renewable energy. To make understandable for the youngest what happens, the VisiKid is developed. It's a child oriented readout system for visualization of energy yields.

The actual electric power is displayed analogue by means of 24 symbolic incandescent lamps (inside LED) and the monthly fed in energy by red balls. Digital displays for the actual power, the monthly and the total energy yield are there additionally. The system is a kind of show case for wall mounting, preferably in public areas of entryways.
