Photovoltaik Modultypen – Welche Modultypen bei Photovoltaik gibt es? Ein Photovoltaikmodul besteht aus mehreren kleinen Solarzellen. Diese kleinen Solarzellen produzieren aus Sonnenlicht Strom. Installiert man nun mehrere Solarmodule, nennt man das eine Photovoltaik- oder Solaranlage. Diese mehreren Module werden miteinander verschalten. Hierbei gibt es zwei verschiedene Möglichkeiten: Reihen- oder Parallelschaltung. Hier wird dann von sogenannten Strings gesprochen. Außerdem unterscheidet man bei Photovoltaikmodulen auch den

Typen. Hier gibt es vier verschiedene:

- monokristalline Photovoltaikmodule
- polykristalline Photovoltaikmodule
- Dünnschicht-Photovoltaikmodule
- CIGS-Photovoltaikmodule

Der Unterschied zwischen mono- und polykristallin ist die unterschiedliche Aufbereitung des Siliziums. Generell besitzen monokristalline Solarzellen einen höheren Wirkungsgrad, das bedeutet Sie „holen mehr Energie aus der Sonneneinstrahlung raus“.
