New LED High Power lights successfully introduced at the SPS IPC Drives 2013

For the first time, iiM AG presented its innovative High-Power product line as well as the LED Spot 3W of the trade mark LUMIMAX® at the trade fair SPS IPC Drives

(PresseBox) (Suhl, )
From the 26th - 28th November 2013 the business unit "LED illumination" of iiM AG initially attended the SPS IPC Drives - the leading trade fair for electric automation technologies. Together with 23 other companies from the Machine Vision industry, iiM AG presented at the VDMA community booth. The CEO of the business unit LED lighting, Mr. Axel Müller and two other members of the iiM team answered the questions and provided information for the numerous visitors.

At the SPS IPC Drives, the new Area Flood Light LQ100 / LQ100FL, Ring Flood Light LR70 / LR70FL as well as the Bar Light LB250 / LB250FL were presented.

The LUMIMAX® High Power LED lights were especially developed for Machine Vision applications and meet the highest requirements for light performance, functionality and industrial design. Extremely bright LEDs combined with integrated controllers and power electronics guarantee a light intensity, which significantly exceeds 1 million lux during flash operation as well as an excellent illumination of inspected objects. This also even applies for a working distance of several metres.

The new High-Power product line provides numerous fields of application by easily switching the LED ancillary lenses (lenses with beam angles from 10° to 50° available; without lenses: beam angle of 80°). The innovative lights are used for homogeneous illumination of large objects, code-reading portals, scanning portals or scanner tunnels and darkfield and brightfield applications. Moreover, the lights are suitable for matrix cameras and partially for line scan cameras. The IP76 housing with its passive cool system enables operating in rough environmental conditions.

The new High Power lights are available as a continuous or flash light in the colours red, infrared, white, blue and green.

All of the lightings have a brightness control with an integrated potentiometer or an analogue connector as well as a TTL- and SPS strobe connection. Flash times are continuously adjustable between 10 and 220µs (the maximum flash frequency is 100 Hz).

All in all the team from iiM AG is very pleased with the interesting conversations and promising contacts at the three-day trade fair.
