High-performance made by LUMIMAX® – New modular Area Lights and Area Flood Lights for most diverse Machine Vision applications

LQHP80 is the name of the new and ultraflexible high-performance lighting series by LUMIMAX®. The high power lighting series with 64 high-power-LEDs complements the product range of both Area Lights and Area Flood Lights. Its modular design as well as a wide range of accessories allow the adaption of the lighting to most diverse applications.
  • With a clear screen (ALK) as a mounted standard, the High-Power Lighting is ideal for reflected light applications. In this configuration an irradiance of more than 5.0 millions lx (16.000 W/m²) is realised.
  • The radiation angle can be adapted to the size and distance of the test object by diverse lens kit options. The exchange of the lenses is easy and quick – as the lenses are already arranged on a pre-assembled lens array.
  • In order to reach a better light scattering, such as minimising reflections, the clear screen frame can be easily exchanged by a slightly diffuse screen (ALD). Alternately the diffuse mounting frame may be installed on top of the clear screen – the larger distance between diffusor and the LEDs increases the light dispersion.

  • The highly diffuse screen frame option (DL) converts the LQHP80 to a homogeneous backlight with a luminance of up to 4.0 millions cd/m².

  • For the reduction of distracting reflections a polarisation filter can be additionally mounted on each of the above mentioned exchange frame options.
The compact housing design of the LQHP80 (95 mm x 95 mm x 21 mm with ALK-mounting frame) corresponds to the IP64 protection class and therefore withstand demanding industrial environments. Thanks to its minimal construction height as well as the narrow mechanical frame, the 80 mm x 80 mm light area itself easily fits into even very limited installation surroundings. Mounting threads on the rear and all sides of the light frame, a highly flexible 3D-cable outlet and the LUMIMAX® M16-connection standard ensure a simplified system integration. Inside the new lighting series a high performance controller technology allows for either permanent, switch or flash operation modes. With the integrated flash controller technology an irradiance of more than 5.0 millions lx (16.000 W/m² at 100 mm work distance, illumination colour white) can be achieved.
