IHSE verkündet den ersten Auftrag für die neuen Draco ultra DisplayPort KVM-Extender an Intronics für den Einsatz in der Schiffsverkehrsüberwachung.

Der Draco ultra ist einzigartig in seiner Fähigkeit, Videosignale in 4K/60Hz bei voller Farbtiefe, 4:4:4, über ein einziges Glasfaserkabel zu übertragen.

„4K erobert den Rundfunk- und AV-Markt zusehends", erklärte Dr. Enno Littmann, Geschäftsführer der IHSE GmbH. „Als erster KVM-Extender seiner Art nutzt der Draco ultra den neuartigen Video-Codec Lici®, der in Kooperation mit dem Fraunhofer Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen und unter Einsatz von Altera DisplayPort 1.2 IP-Cores entwickelt wurde.

Thomas Rouw, Business Development Manager von Intronics, sagte: „Für die Betreiber dieser Anwendung ist die bestmögliche Bildqualität von enormer Wichtigkeit. Genau das bietet der Draco ultra DisplayPort-Extender von IHSE."
