Die Deutsche Post tut es. Die Telekom tut es. Siegwerk AG, Tee Gschwendner, Sparkasse KölnBonn und die Volksbank Bonn/Rhein-Sieg tun es. Das Kameha Grand Bonn tut es, die Stadtwerke Bonn. Sie alle engagieren sich sozial an ihrem Standort. Die Großunternehmen tragen nicht nur gesellschaftliche Verantwortung, indem sie Arbeitsplätze sichern. Über soziale Mindeststandards können sie zum Beispiel dafür sorgen, dass Geschäfte nur mit umwelt- und sozialverantwortlichen Partnern zustande kommen. Die Bonner Dax-Unternehmen bemühen sich, die globale Umweltsituation zu verbessern und die Entwicklung nachhaltiger Technologien in der Branche zu fördern. Eine nachhaltige und ressourcenschonende Entwicklung in den Geschäftsfeldern Energieversorgung, Trinkwasser, Abfallverwertung und Nahverkehr steht bei den Stadtwerken im Vordergrund. TeeGschwendner schafft Arbeit, Einkommen, Bildung und Nachhaltigkeit durch Bio-Anbau in einer Teeregion in Nepal. Aber auch die kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen in der Region tun es: Der eine leistet kostenlos Computerhilfe für Senioren, der andere bezahlt die Trikots für den Sportverein. Das DRK Seniorenheim Haus Steinbach bietet Kaffee aus fairem Handel an, und bemüht sich um energiesparendes Wirtschaften. Die wenigsten Unternehmen reden darüber, was sie der Gesellschaft Gutes tun, und so wissen wohl auch die wenigsten Bonner, was auf dem Gebiet der corporate social responsibility (CSR), der gesellschaftlichen Verantwortung, geschieht. Das soll sich ändern. Die IHK Bonn Rhein-Sieg rief im abgelaufenen Jahr zum Ideenaustausch über soziales Engagement auf, und viele, viele kamen. Und kommen in diesem Jahr wieder: Zum "CSR-Frühstück" unter dem Motto "Von Unternehmen für Unternehmen". Dabei stellen die Gastgeber ihre CSR-Strategie vor. So, dass kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen von den Großen, aber auch untereinander voneinander lernen können. Ziel ist der Aufbau eines Unternehmensnetzwerkes zum Thema CSR in der Region Bonn Rhein-Sieg. Aber nicht nur Geber, sondern auch Nehmer von sozialem Engagement verfolgen die Veranstaltungen mit wachen Augen. Im Rahmen des Modellprojekts "Bonner CSR-Frühstücke" präsentierte Don Bosco JUGEND DRITTE WELT e.V. mit seinem Kooperationspartner Porsche AG, wie durch Partnerprojekte zwischen Unternehmen und Nichtregierungsorganisationen Win-Win Situationen entstehen können. Auf den Philippinen werden jährlich 40 sozial benachteiligte Jugendliche zu Automobil-Spezialisten ausgebildet, die im gesamten asiatischen Raum in Porsche-Zentren zum Einsatz kommen. Michael Pieck, Pressesprecher der IHK BonnRhein-Sieg, träumt vom praktischen Zusammenspiel von Bonner Unternehmen und sozialen Organisationen in Ideen und konkreten Vorschlägen auf einer gemeinsamen Plattform, einem CSR-Marktplatz. Und lädt Interessierte aus Bonn und der Region auch 2011 ein, sich an diesem Projekt zu beteiligen. "Mehr als zwei Stunden Zeit müssen für ein "CSR-Frühstück" nicht eingeplant werden. Gastgeber und Gäste sind willkommen, und können sich für 2011 gern bewerben."
