Die Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) Bonn/Rhein-Sieg richtet in Kooperation mit der IHK Köln und der German Industry & Commerce Greater China einen Wirtschaftstag China aus. Er findet am Mittwoch, 29. Mai, 10 bis 16 Uhr, in der IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg, Bonner Talweg 17, 53113 Bonn, statt und steht unter dem Motto "Seidenstraße oder Datenautobahn? Neue Wege nach China". Die Städtepartnerschaft zwischen Bonn und Chengdu, der Provinzhauptstadt von Sichuan mit ca. 14 Millionen Einwohnern, besteht seit nunmehr zehn Jahren. In diesem Zeitraum hat sich der Außenhandel zwischen Deutschland und China mehr als verdoppelt. "Heute bestimmen Diskussionen um die neue Seidenstraße, chinesische Unternehmen in Deutschland, die Digitalisierung und das Innovationspotenzial in China die Schlagzeilen", sagt Armin Heider, Außenwirtschaftsexperte der IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg. Hintergründe, Entwicklungen und Geschäftschancen auf lokaler und landesweiter Ebene werden in der Informationsveranstaltung von ausgewiesenen Experten erörtert. Über die "Belt and Road Initiative", der Wiederbelebung und dem Ausbau der 2000 Jahre alten Seidenstraße, beabsichtigt China den Warenaustausch mit mehr als 60 Ländern auf drei Kontinenten zu stimulieren. Auch auf anderen Wegen kommen chinesische Unternehmen immer näher. Heider: "Die Liste der Übernahmen deutscher Firmen durch chinesische Unternehmen setzt sich weiter fort, wenn auch mit leicht rückgängiger Geschwindigkeit. Auf der einen Seite werden so zwar Geschäftsverbindungen ins Land der Mitte einfacher möglich, die Befürchtungen um einen Wissensabzug aus Deutschland werden immer lauter." Es gehe aber nicht nur um die physische Annäherung, sondern zunehmend auch um die digitale Anbindung und Kommunikation, die in China ungleich stärker im täglichen Leben genutzt werde als hierzulande.
