„Hoffentlich sieht sie mich nicht“, dachte Gabriele Michels, als Brigitte Erang joggend ihren Weg in Wittlich kreuzte. Doch die Gebietsleiterin des iGZ-Mitglieds TimePartner ließ sich vom jämmerlichen Zustand ihrer ehemaligen Mitarbeiterin nicht irritieren. Geschockt, aber gefasst sprach sie die 56-Jährige an. War es nun Zufall, Schicksal oder Vorhersehung – Michels ist es eigentlich egal, aber die Ansprache Brigitte Erangs holte sie vom Leben auf der Parkbank via Zeitarbeit zurück in eine ganz normale Existenz. „Geh’ zur Caritas, und danach meldest du dich morgen bei mir“, erinnert sich die gelernte Metzgerin und Fleischerei-Fachverkäuferin an die Begegnung. „Ich habe mich so furchtbar geschämt“, gesteht sie ein. Fünf Tage habe sie dann noch herumgegammelt, bis sie schließlich zur Caritas gegangen sei, um Hilfe zu suchen. Gabriele Michels’ Lebensweg zeigt, wie schnell man aus einer ganz normalen Existenz ins Nichts abstürzen kann: Nach dem Hauptschulabschluss absolvierte sie eine Lehre, ging arbeiten. „16 Jahre lang habe ich in einem Kaufhaus in der Lebensmittel- und Feinkostabteilung gearbeitet“, erinnert sie sich. Dann habe sie den „größten Fehler“ ihres Lebens begangen und geheiratet: „Ich war bis auf zehn Tage 25 Jahre lang verheiratet, habe zwei Kinder bekommen. Am 12. Oktober 2006 wurde ich um 13.58 Uhr geschieden. Das war dann der glücklichste Tag meines Lebens“, betont Gabriele Michels. Hinzu kam ein Jobwechsel – sie arbeitete fortan in Nachtschichten in der Gastronomie und wechselte schließlich zu TimePartner. „Sie hat immer geschafft wie ein Ochse“, würdigt Brigitte Erang den Fleiß ihrer Mitarbeiterin. Doch dann schlug das Schicksal zu. Ein erneuter Berufswechsel und ein Umzug in fremde Gefilde machten Michels einsam und unglücklich. Abends mal ein, zwei Bier sorgten für „Druckausgleich“. Am Ende wurden es mehr – Job weg, Wohnung weg, alles weg, und die 56-Jährige fand sich auf einer Parkbank am Schlossplatz wieder. Ob es nun die Angst war, ihre ehemalige Chefin zu enttäuschen, oder die wiederentdeckte Selbstachtung nach der Ansprache Erangs – Gabriele Michels raffte sich auf. Es gehören ein unbändiger Wille und höchste Disziplin dazu, sich aus diesem Sumpf zu befreien. „Ich wollte es unbedingt schaffen“, betont sie eindringlich. Nach Therapie und Entgiftung stand sie wieder auf der TimePartner-Matte, bestand darauf, nur „mit der besten Chefin der Welt“ sprechen zu wollen. Erang fackelte nicht lange und schickte ihre „alte“ neue Mitarbeiterin in die Lebensmittelproduktion eines Unternehmens, das vor Ort Pizzen produziert. „Donnerstags gibt’s in der Pause Gratispizza“, freut sich Michels über ihren Job. Recruiting von Mitarbeitern – das ist für Brigitte Erang viel mehr als nur das Einstellen von Zeitarbeitnehmern. „Wertschätzung und das persönliche sich kümmern stehen für uns an erster Stelle“, unterstreicht sie. Und liefert gleich noch ein Beispiel ab: Als Gabriele Michels’ Sohn heiratete, schnappte sie sich ihre Mitarbeiterin und ging mit ihr groß shoppen. Neben einem kompletten Hochzeitsoutfit gab’s auch ein passendes Accessoire dazu: „Zum ersten Mal in meinem Leben habe ich eine Handtasche“, strahlt die Bräutigammutter noch immer begeistert. Die kompletten Kosten übernahm TimePartner. Brigitte Erang griff für die harmonische Gesamtkomposition am Ende zu Pinsel, Lippenstift und Nagellack. „Ich war nach der Braut die bestangezogene Frau“, freut sich Gabriele Michels, „und im Januar werde ich Oma.“ Sie ist sich sicher, den Weg zurück habe sie nur der Zeitarbeit zu verdanken. Nur hier habe sie eine zweite Chance bekommen: „Ohne Zeitarbeit hätte ich den Job nicht, den ich jetzt habe“, ist sie überzeugt. Ein weiterer Vorteil sei, dass Zeitarbeit die Möglichkeit biete, den Arbeitsplatz auch zu wechseln, wenn’s nicht so richtig passt. Sie habe nun einen Riesenspaß da, wo sie arbeite: „Das ist abwechslungsreich und ich lerne noch was dazu“, freut sie sich.
