Mithridate Mahmoudi (56) ist bereits seit den 80er Jahren auf dem Machine Vision-Markt unterwegs. Er war zuletzt Präsident des auf Bildverarbeitungsprodukte spezialisierten Vertriebsunternehmens IMASYS und ist mit dem Kameraangebot
von IDS bestens vertraut.
Als einer der führenden Hersteller von digitalen Industriekameras mit USB- und GigE-Anschluss sowie Frame Grabbern forcierte IDS bereits 2007 mit der Gründung einer Repräsentanz in Boston/USA das internationale Geschäft. Heute ist das 1997 gegründete Unternehmen mit Hauptsitz im schwäbischen Obersulm bei Heilbronn mit Niederlassungen in den USA, in Japan und Frankreich sowie Vertriebspartnern in fast allen Ländern Europas und Asiens weltweit gut aufgestellt.
