USB 3.0 Industriekamera mit Sony-Sensor IMX174 und 18 MPixel/4K Sensor von Aptina

IDS - der Weltmarktführer für USB-Industriekameras - stellt eine komplett überarbeitete Generation seiner USB 3.0 Industriekamera CP vor. Die Rev. 2 der High End Kamera wurde konsequent auf die künftigen, leistungsstarken Sensormodelle ausgelegt und verfügt über einen integrierten Bildspeicher. Auf der Messe werden Modelle mit dem 18 MP bzw. 4K Sensor von Aptina und mit dem von der Branche hochgelobten 2,3 MP Sensor IMX174 von Sony gezeigt. Der CMOS-Sensor glänzt mit bis dato unerreichten Werten in punkto Lichtempfindlichkeit, Dynamikumfang und Farbwiedergabe und verbindet diese mit enorm hohen Frameraten von bis zu 180 Bildern pro Sekunde.

Dabei wartet der IMX174 - erhältlich ist eine Monochrom- und Farbversion - mit einer Auflösung von 1936 x 1216 Pixel in einem optischen Format von 13,4 mm (1/1,2“) auf. Speziell für gestochen scharfe Aufnahmen schnell bewegter Objekte wurde ein Sensorelement mit Analogspeicher entwickelt, das Focal-Plane-Verzerrungen durch gleichzeitiges Auslesen aller Pixelsignale effektiv verhindert. Erreicht werden Bildraten bis 180 fps. Außerdem wird ein Dual-Frame-Ausgabemodus mit verschiedenen Belichtungszeiten unterstützt.
Die Kombination der beiden Bilder steigert den Dynamikbereich bis 73 dB (12 Bit), dazu kommen eine hohe Empfindlichkeit und ein besonders niedriges Ausleserauschen. Damit eignet sich die USB 3.0 Kamera perfekt für Einsätze bei schwachen Lichtver-hältnissen.

Insbesondere für Anwendungen in der Mikroskopie empfiehlt sich der 18 MP Sensor von Aptina. Mit einer Auflösung von 4912 x 3684 Pixel (18 Megapixel) und einem 1/2" Format liefert er besonders detaillierte Bilder und erweitert das ohnehin schon große Einsatzspektrum der Kamera abermals. Die CP Rev. 2 mit dem Aptina Sensor ist aktuell die USB 3.0 Industriekamera mit der höchsten Auflösung auf dem Markt; sie ermöglicht bei voller 4K Auflösung eine Framerate von 20 fps und bei Full HD sogar 90 Bilder/s.

Mit ihren Industrie-Standardmaßen (29 x 29 mm) und dem äußerst robusten Magnesiumgehäuse sowie mit jeweils einem verschraubbaren Micro USB 3.0 und Hirose Anschluss kann sie in vielen Applikationen sowohl im industriellen als auch im nicht-industriellen Umfeld eingesetzt werden. Die USB 3.0-Kameraserie ist mit der bewährten IDS Software Suite erhältlich, die alle Features der neuen Sensoren unterstützt. Dazu zählen der einstellbare Pixeltakt und Schwarzwert, Multi-AOI, Langzeitbelichtung und viele weitere Funktionen. Darüber hinaus ist aber auch eine USB3-Vision-konforme Variante geplant.
