New uEye software package V4.0 boasts a range of great and useful tools for IDS uEye USB 3.0, 2.0 and GigE cameras

(PresseBox) (Obersulm, )
IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH just released its new software package version 4.0. The new software not only supports new USB 3 uEye CP camera series, it also offers an assortment of other great and useful features.

The new streaming function allows to transfer compressed H.264 (MPEG4) and MJPEG streams – a great feature for mobile data acquisition, surveillance, and to simply control the camera system from afar. All settings to access this feature can easily be adjusted via uEye Cockpit.
Another great new feature is the uEye programming interface for Microsoft .NET. This user-friendly and object-oriented programming interface offers great features that make its use flexible, easy and efficient. Plus, it allows platform independent programming so integrating inexpensive and efficient applications is as easy as adapting applications when requirements change.

Apart from the interface IDS offers a comprehensive .NET manual and a range of programming samples, which make programming with the new interface even easier!

The sophisticated software package as always supports all IDS cameras both under Windows and Linux (release following soon) – whether USB 3.0, USB 2.0 or GigE.

The new software package V4.0 is available for free at www.ueyesetup.com.
