Mehr als 15% der Mitarbeiter nutzten das Angebot, sich vor Ort registrieren zu lassen. Die DKMS wertet schon eine Beteiligung von 10 % der Belegschaft als Erfolg. „Tolle Aktion, aber ich bin schon registriert“, war eine häufige Reaktion auf die Einladung zur Registrierung. „Ich hatte es schon immer vor, aber es fehlte der Anstoß“, eine andere. „Jeden Tag eine gute Tat, das war heute meine“, sprach schließlich eine Spenderin aus, was viele dachten. Denn alle 15 Minuten erkrankt in Deutschland ein Mensch an Blutkrebs. Für zahlreiche Patienten ist die Stammzelltransplantation die einzige Überlebenschance, doch jeder siebte Patient findet keinen passenden Spender. Ziel der DKMS ist es, das zu ändern und IDS hat sie dabei gerne unterstützt. Kein großer Aufwand, weder in der Vorbereitung, noch in der Durchführung. „Mund auf. Stäbchen rein. Spender sein.“ heißt das Motto – passend zur IDS Unternehmensphilosophie „It’s so easy“!
ÜBER DKMS
