Camera Viewer erhält direkten Zugriff auf den I2C-Bus einer uEye Kamera

Für seine uEye Kameramodelle mit I2C-Anschluss bietet IDS jetzt eine komfortable Möglichkeit zum schnellen und einfachen Testen von BV-Hardwareerweiterungen, die an diesem Bus angeschlossen sind. Der Camera Viewer „uEye Demo“, der zum Lieferumfang aller USB- und GigE-Industriekameras des Herstellers gehört, wurde in der neuesten Version 3.80 der uEye Kamerasoftware entsprechend erweitert.

Die grafische Oberfläche des Software-Tools bietet nun direkten Zugriff auf die
I2C-Kommandos. Damit werden Hardwaretests von der Software unabhängiger
und können früher als bisher und mit minimalem Aufwand, durchgeführt werden.
Ohne Programmieraufwand lässt sich z.B. die Funktion von Eigenentwicklungen,
wie Lichtsteuerung, Motoren oder D/A-Wandler, schnell und einfach prüfen.

Darüber hinaus stehen im Camera Viewer auch alle modellspezifischen Parameter der Kameras in einer grafischen Umgebung zur Verfügung. Das Annähern an die idealen Einstellungen ist somit ohne die Programmierung einer einzigen Zeile Code möglich, außerdem vereinfacht das Speichern der bestmöglichen Parameter in eine INI-Datei die Übernahme in die tatsächliche Bildverarbeitungsapplikation.
