Ensenso 3D cameras score with a jury of 16 experts in every respect: they represent a solution for 3D image capture that is particularly fast, simple, precise, flexible and cost-effective.
The 3D camera system works according to the "Projected Texture Stereo Vision" principle. Each model is equipped with two monochrome GigE uEye cameras with 1.3 MP or 5 MP CMOS sensors and a projector that uses a pattern mask to project high-contrast textures onto the object to be captured. The powerful projector unit with 100 W LED projector output and integrated GigE switch enables perfectly matched settings.
The award was presented by John Lewis, editor-in-chief, and Alan Bergstein, editor of Vision Systems Design, one of the leading magazines in the image processing industry with more than 44,000 subscribers. Jeremy Bergh, IDS Sales Director North America, accepted the award at the Vision Show in Boston. "We are very pleased about the award. It recognizes what confirms the strong global demand: Our Ensenso X series makes 3D vision applications easy and flexible to use. Precise 3D data is already indispensable for many applications today - this will increase further in the future".
