Mit nur 19 cm Kantenlänge und einer Bautiefe von lediglich 76 mm eignet sich das Schreib-/Lesegerät ideal für die Nutzung auch bei räumlichen Einschränkungen sowie auf Fahrzeugen. Das witterungsfeste Gehäuse trotzt dem rauen Industriealltag im Innen- und Außeneinsatz.
Standard ist eine kombinierte Daten- und Stromversorgung über Patch-Kabel (PoE). Durch die Integration von Antenne und Lesegerät entfällt zusätzlich zum Strom- auch das bruchgefährdete Koaxialkabel. Der Installationsaufwand reduziert sich auf ein Minimum.
Neben dem Einsatz an z.B. Kommissionierstraßen und Fertigungslinien können mit identMX auch zeitlich befristete RFID-Lösungen einfach realisiert werden. Lesereichweiten bis 12 Meter, abhängig von Transpondertyp und Umgebungsbedingungen, erlauben eine große Flexibilität für den Einsatz in Industrie, Logistik, Produktion und Handel.
identMX kann mit Sensorik wie bspw. Ultraschall oder Infrarot gekoppelt werden. Das ermöglicht ereignisgesteuerte Schreib-/Lesevorgänge.
Der RFID-Spezialist aus Sankt Augustin setzt seinen neuen Kompaktreader auch als Bestandteil seines modularen RFID-Systems zur Nachrüstung auf Gabelstaplern ein. Je nach Anforderung können damit die gerade transportierte Ladung und/oder der Ladungsträger (z.B. Gitterbox) automatisch und ohne Mitwirkung des Fahrers identifiziert werden.
