Retail Technology Editor Miya Knights Joins IDC Retail Insights in EMEA

IDC Retail Insights today announced the appointment of Miya Knights as a senior research analyst for IDC Retail Insights. In this role, Knights will manage IDC Retail Insights' Worldwide Omni-Channel Customer Experience Strategies research program while providing consultancy and advisory support to retailers and IT vendors serving the retail industry.

With 15 years of experience across the IT and retail sectors, Knights brings a deep understanding of the demands and challenges of retailers and which technologies support their needs in addressing ever more complex consumer expectations and behavior, as well as vendor market trends.

Previously, Knights was the editor of Retail Technology magazine, which has a combined online and print readership of over 30,000 industry professionals. Throughout her career, Knights has written on technology and business related issues with articles and features in publications such as The Independent, The Times, The Financial Times, The Telegraph, Techworld, TechWeekEurope UK, CIO UK, Computer Weekly, v3.co.uk, and ZDNet.
