The vendors included in this IDC MarketScape analysis are Accenture, Capgemini, CSC, Deloitte, HP, IBM, KPMG, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. In addition to the vendors identified as "Leaders", five vendors were named as “Major Players”. They are Accenture, Capgemini, CSC, HP, and KPMG.
"This analysis indicates an intense competition among the players as vendor ratings were very close for the majority of the vendors in most sub-criteria. The analysis reveals certain areas of strength and areas of improvement for the providers within the enterprise architecture services market," said Ali Zaidi, senior research analyst, IT Consulting and Systems Integration Research.
Key findings from this MarketScape include:
- Across the eight vendors analyzed, the most common areas mentioned as needing improvement were cost management, sales and distribution, and future growth strategies.
- Conversely, the most common areas of vendor strength included innovation, R&D pace and productivity, current growth strategies, and future customer service strategies.
