IDC Health Insights today announced it has hired Adriana Allocato as Senior Research Analyst, EMEA. In this role, Allocato will be supporting EMEA healthcare providers and global public health research programs. Her library of published research will concentrate on the digital transformation of European healthcare systems.

With an impressive background in industry research, Allocato most recently served in a development role at Reply in Milan, a key health IT vendor for the Italian market, where she conducted market research, analysis, and content development for clients across major technology categories including Big Data, Cloud Computing, Digital Communication, Internet of Things, Mobile, and Social Networking. Previously, she was a Research Fellow at the Cass Business School in the UK. There she commissioned an ethnographic study of the global reinsurance industry, involving nearly 60 firms in 17 countries. She also spearheaded the Global Reinsurance Masterclass series.
Prior to that, Allocato was a Research Fellow at the Ashton Business School where she began her keen interest and experience in the reinsurance industry. Boasting a notable number of published works, Allocato has a master's degree from the University of Naples Federico II, Naples and a doctorate in Healthcare Management and Economics.
