M.2 3-in-1 Ethernet LAN Module

ICP Deutschland bietet mit der MEC-LAN Schnittstellen Serie eine einfache Art an PC Systeme um LAN Schnittstellen zu erweitern. Die M.2 001i und MEC-LAN-LAN-2002i sind 3-in-1 Module, die auf M.2 2280, 2260 oder 2242 Steckplätzen befestigt werden können. Hierzu wird das Modul an der entsprechenden Sollbruchstelle auf die gewünschte Länge gekürzt. Mit dem MEC-LAN-2001i kann das System um eine GbE Schnittstelle erweitert werden, wohingegen mit dem MEC-LAN-2002i zwei zusätzliche GbE Schnittstellen zur Verfügung stehen. Bei beiden Modulen kommen Intel® 210-IT LAN ICs zum Einsatz, die das PTP Protokoll gemäß IEEE1588 unterstützen. Die Module sind für einen Betriebstemperaturbereich von -40 °C bis +85 °C ausgelegt und weisen einen Stromverbrauch von 190 mA bzw. 625mA bei 3,3 Volt auf. Beiden Modulen gemein ist der vielfältige Befestigungsmechanismus. Die Montageeinheit, auf der die RJ45 Stecker platziert sind, kann am PCI/PCIe Slotblech in voller oder halber Bauhöhe, innerhalb des eigenen Gehäuses in jeder erwünschten Lage oder an das Gehäuse herausgeführt werden. Ihre industrielle Tauglichkeit unterstreichen die Module durch Erfüllung der CE/FCC Norm Klasse B.
